Polycom’s 320 and 330 model desktop IP phones are perfect for moderate use situations where space is at a premium and good sound quality is required. The phones include two line appearances, missed/received/placed call directories, two-way speaker phone, mute, headset, call-waiting, three-way calling, and more. The Polycom 320 and 330 models are identical, except that the Polycom 330 includes an embedded 2-port 10/100 Ethernet switch.

Polycom 320/330 IP Phone Interface
- Message Waiting Indicator – This light alerts you to incoming calls and new voicemails.
- Line Icons – These visual displays will let you know the status of the two call appearances.
- Softkeys – Performs context-specific functions as shown on the LCD screen.
- Line Indicators – These multi-color LEDs display the call state of the two call appearances. Solid Green – Active call. Flashing Green – Incoming call. Flashing Red – call is on hold.
- Line Keys – Use these keys to activate the call appearances associated with them.
- Hold Button – Places active call on hold or resumes held call.
- Headset Button – Place, receive, or switch current call to your headset.
- Speakerphone Button – Place, receive, or switch current call to the speaker phone.
- Microphone – The microphone pickup for the hands-free speakerphone.

- Volume Buttons – Adjust the volume of the handset, headset, speaker, and ringer.
- Microphone Mute – Mutes audio locally during a call.
- Dial Pad – Same as traditional telephone.
- Feature Keys – Use the Dial button to dial the entered phone number or access the “Placed Calls” list. The Menu button allows you to enter the phone’s menu.
- Display Control Keys – Use the arrows to scroll through display menus. Use the check mark to select.
- Speaker – For ringer and hands-free speakerphone output.

- Graphic Display – Shows information about calls, messages, softkeys, time, date, and other relevant information.

Using the Polycom 320/330 IP Phone
Placing a Call
- Take the handset off hook or press a Line Key, the Speakerphone Button, or the Headset Button to get a dial tone.
- Dial the number you wish to call.
- Press the Dial button or wait for timeout.
Transferring a Call
- While in a call, press the Trans softkey.
- If making a blind (unannounced) transfer, press the Blind key now.
- Dial the number to which you wish to transfer the call and press the Dial button.
- If Blind was selected, the transfer will happen immediately. Otherwise, announce the call and press the Trans softkey again to complete the transfer. Alternatively, press the Split softkey to return to the original call.
Perform Three-Way Calling
- While in a call, press the Conf softkey.
- Dial the number you wish to add and press the Dial button.
- Announce the call.
- Press the Conf softkey again to join the two calls together or the Split softkey to return to the original call.
- Once the three-way call is in progress, you can press the Split softkey at any time to split the calls apart. Both calls will end up on hold on lines one and two call appearances.
Dial Voicemail for this Extension
- If a new voicemail is waiting, press the Msgs softkey to dial the voicemail system directly. Alternatively, dial *97.
- Enter the password for your voicemail box using your dial pad.
Directory Features
Look Up Missed, Placed, or Received Calls
- For incoming calls that were missed or received, press the Callers softkey. For placed calls, press the Dial button.
- Use the navigation keys to browse through the appropriate directory.
Add a Contact to Your Personal Directory
- Press the Dir softkey.
- Use the navigation keys to highlight <New Entry>.
- Press the Select key (the checkmark button).
- Use the navigation keys to scroll through the information such as "First Name", "Last Name", and "Contact" and press the Select key to enter the information. Press the OK softkey to accept the input. Note that the phone number should be entered under "Contact".
- When all of the information has been entered, press the left arrow navigation key. When asked to save, press the Yes softkey.
- Press the left arrow navigation key again to exit the directory.
Delete a Contact from Your Personal Directory
- Press the Dir softkey.
- Use the navigation keys to highlight the contact you wish to delete.
- Press the Select key (the checkmark button).
- Press the Delete softkey.
- When asked to confirm, press the Yes softkey.
Call a Contact from Your Personal Directory
- Press the Dir softkey.
- Use the navigation keys to highlight the contact you wish to call.
- Press the Dial button.
